Home Tattoo Removal Creams ? Understanding the Growing Popularity of D.I.Y. Tat Removal

Submitted by: Robert Millan

Home tattoo removal creams have gained a considerable amount of popularity over the last few years. Why? Because, consumers tend to gravitate towards safe, effective, and affordable solutions to their problems. The problem in this case is that the most popular way to get rid of an unwanted tattoo, laser treatments, is also the most expensive, most painful, and most risky option. While it will take longer to fade an unwanted tattoo using a cream or gel based product, it is ultimately a more attractive option for many consumers partly because of the rise of do-it-yourself, at-home removal products.

The bottom line is that most consumers like to do things for themselves if it allows them to save money. For example, whereas a homeowner would have previously called someone to paint their home, or to fix their plumbing, they can now do it on their own using home repair Supercenters and the internet to figure out their problems. There are of course numerous other examples detailing the rise of the DIY culture including at-home hair dying, home dry-cleaning kits, and home electrical repair. The tradition has also continued with the rise in popularity of home tat removal creams. Rather than spending thousands of dollars on laser removal treatments, consumers are able to spend a small fraction of that amount and are able to fade and help erase their tattoos in the privacy and comfort of their homes.

What To Look For in Home Tattoo Removal Creams?

The single most important variable to pay attention to is the list of ingredients included in a particular home removal cream. This is because sometimes tattoo removal creams like to use dangerous or banned ingredients. Unfortunately, some of these companies try to hide the fact that they are using a dangerous ingredient. For example, Hydroquinone is an internationally controversial ingredient due in major part because it has been linked to the development of cancer amongst other health related diseases. While this ingredient is banned in most major countries, it is still available for purchase in the United States. If you notice a home tattoo removal cream that contains Hydroquinone, it is in your best interested to avoid purchasing it.

A similar ingredient consumers need to be on the watch for in a tattoo removal cream is TCA or Trichloroacetic Acid. While TCA is used in skin care salons and spas throughout the country, it is risky which is why health care professionals strongly suggest you use it in the presence of a trained medical provider. This is because TCA can quickly burn through the layers of the skin which can result in substantial scarring and skin damage. Furthermore, many consumers who choose to use a home removal product or serum which contains TCA, use it at full strength, which is how consumers damage their skin.

In conclusion, using DIY tattoo removal creams is a safe and effective alternative to relying on laser removal. However, it is important that you confirm that the product does not contain dangerous ingredients such as Hydroquinone or TCA.

Remove Tattoo | Neo Mag Light Product History | Black Magic Light ...

A Little Neo Mag Light History From Nick Gonzales.

Soon after opening a tattoo shop, I realized tattoo removal was the next business I wanted to venture into. More people were coming in asking for tattoo removal or cover ups than new ink. I also knew from my 20 year career in corrections there was a huge demand for affordable gang / jail house tattoo removal. Most employers have tattoo policies that discriminate against having visible tattoos. Gang and amature tattoos were keeping reformed thousands if not millions from having a better quality of life. The free gang tattoo removal programs often used outdated lasers that left scars where the tattoo removal was attempted.

I was also a victim of tattoo regret. I couldn't afford expensive tattoo removal and had to settle for a cover up. The tattoo artist had to design the cover up around my bad tattoo. If I could have just faded certain parts it would have greatly increased my cover up options. This put me on a mission to find an affordable answer to tattoo removal or fading. When doing my research I developed a tattoo removal cream. I soon realized to remove the ink a lot of trauma ( sanding away at the skin with corrosives ) would have to be done. I quickly scratched that idea.

Remove TattooAfter a little more research I found that Laser and IPL tattoo removal has by far the best results. I focused on these two types of removal. I called laser tattoo removal and IPL clinics across the nation to get pricing on equipment and to hear straight from a pro how the process works. Both types of businesses used equipment that averaged well over $100,000 and both claimed that their process was superior than the other. This was obvious why their prices were so expensive and neither wanted to admit that the other was superior. The cost of the high priced equipment had to be passed onto the customers. As a tattoo shop owner, I knew the regretful tattoo customer base very well. Most could never afford the average $180 or more a session. There is a huge void between the I want a tattoo removed and can afford $180 a session customers, and the I need a tattoo removed to get a minimum wage job customers. Neo Mag Light was developed to fill that void.

Remove Tattoo | The Conclusion

My conclusion is, IPL is the new kid on the block and is safer, cleaner and less traumatic to the skin. Laser on the other hand has been around forever and has made great advancements. Large and multi color tattoos should definitely be removed with a laser and not IPL. IPL will do the job, but I do not recommend Neo Mag Light for these types of tattoos. Thankfully, most regretted tattoos are business card sized, dark ink, amature, and have defined edges. These types of tattoos are perfect for Neo Mag Light. Please remember, I developed Neo Mag Light for the customer that needs tattoo removal, not wants tattoo removal.

Give Neo Mag Light a try. If your ink doesn't fade in 30 days, just return for a refund. Neo Mag Light is committed to excellent customer service, integrity and honest marketing. We look forward to helping you with your tattoo removal. Thanks for looking over our site. Good luck in your tattoo removal and God Bless.
