LaseAway Skin & Laser Center is revolutionizing tattoo removal through the use of laser technology.

Market Press Release – April 4, 2014 9:11 am

Andover MA, April 2, 2014 — LaseAway Skin & Laser Center (http://www.laseawaycenters.com) is revolutionizing tattoo removal through the use of laser technology. About half of all people who get tattoos end up regretting it. Laser tattoo removal is the only way to truly remove a tattoo. The process, which uses what are called "Q-switch" laser tattoo removal machines.

How do these lasers work in tattoo removal? Tattoos consist of particles of ink suspended in the skin. While skin grows and discards skin particles, the ink particles remain permanent because the particles are too big. "Q-switch" or pulsed laser tattoo removal treatment breaks up the ink into much smaller particles, allowing the normal body process to remove the ink. Because darker pigments such as blue and black absorb more laser energy the laser tattoo removal of these colors goes more quickly. Lighter colors such as pinks and yellows take more tattoo removal procedures because they tend to reflect more of the laser energy away.

Most patients who receive laser tattoo removal treatments report feeling a slight pulse in tandem with the laser pulse that feels like a small rubber band being lightly snapped against the skin.

As mum Anne Cox is reportedly worried he's getting addicted to tatts...

One Direction star Harry Styles has allegedly been using DIY tattoo kits.

According to The Sun, Hazza is said to have let one of his friends use a home tattoo kit to create his latest design.

The newspaper claims that by using such kits, the Kiss You singer is at risk of hepatitis, TB and other infectious diseases - with his regular professional tattoo artist advising Styles to stop using the home methods.

34-year old Kevin Paul - who has also inked the likes of James Arthur and Ed Sheeran - claimed: "I tried to explain to him what the risks were but he doesn't seem to care."

Meanwhile, Harry's mum Anne Cox is also said to have aired her views on the 1D star's tattoo addiction, with The Daily Star reporting that she's urged him to not get another piece of body art while in Japan.

A source told the newspaper: "Harry's mum is worried his tattoo collection is getting out of hand. She thinks he's getting addicted to sitting in the artist's chair.

"She's concerned about the lasting effects of the scribbles all over his body and thinks he could live to regret some of them."

Boss Simon Cowell is also said to have advised Harry on the subject, with the insider explaining: "Simon gave him some gentle advice suggesting he gives it a break for a while and reassess.

"Harry has had over 30 tattoos in the last year. His mum is also concerned the ink could be the reason he gets such bad skin. She's told him he'll get even more spotty if he continues, not just on his face."

The Daily Star adds that Anne is worried Harry may get a Kanji Japanese symbol during his trip to the Far East, with the mole adding: "Harry loves the Japanese symbols. He's determined to have Japanese calligraphy on him.

"It wouldn't surprise me if he gets it done sneakily."

how to remove tattoo with Tattoo off cream /Gel way.

Removing tattoos using cream is one of the common ways because of the cost and how simple it is. Some people might not want to use the most common way to remove tattoos, laser surgery. It could be the cost of the operation or maybe the side effects and pain. With laser tattoo removal it may burn your skin, skin might become discolored, or scarring might occur. If you don't want to deal with the pain you might want to consider the cream/gel choice.

So does tattoo removal cream work?

Yes and no. Creams are advertised as better then laser surgery. They are also advertised that they do indeed work. It really depends on the tattoo and how much work was done to the tattoo. It's going to be easy be easier to be removed by our tattoo off cream . Creams will frist fade the tattoo then go on using the cream after some 5days the tattoo will be off not enough to be seen. The only cream the willwork more effectively then another is if it involves dermabrasion like tattoo off cream or gel .

Where can I get tattoo removal cream or gel ?

Tattoo cream is can be got by e-mailing maamabuba@gmail.com or call +27786323560

Where have found one of the best Tattoo Fading and Removal cream on the market. Its called PROFADE and is a 3 step process which will make those unwanted tattoos a thing of the past. Daily use of the Profade cream helps to break down the ink in the skin with results varying from 3 to 9 months. The time it takes to fade depends on the sixe of the tattoo the colors used and the deepness of the ink

With the extortionate cost of laser surgery and the possible scarring side effects it is one of the safest and effecting methods of removing or fading the tattoo discreetly.

How Does it Work

Profade works in 3 Easy Steps:

1. You need to prepare the skin so that it is more receptive to steps 2 & 3. This involves wetting the area with warm water and then applying the Step 1 cream and lightly massaging it into the area that is covered by the tattoo. You then wash and dry the skin afterwards.

2. In this step the cream works to start breaking down the ink particles in the skin. This is allowed to dry for about 10 mins.

3. This is the final step in the process and basically requires you to apply a fine layer of the cream to the same area. This is a different tube of cream as are the 2 mentioned in step 2 & 3.

All 3 of these creams work in conjunction with each for maximum effect. This process is repeated 3 times a day.

What's in the Profade Cream

Police Investigate Alleged Tattoo Attack in Mayfair CBS Philly

Posted: 01 Apr 2014 04:58 PM PDT

By Walt Hunter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are questioning four people about an alleged "tattoo attack" on a 52-year-old man inside the basement of a Mayfair home in which, the man claims, he was held down twice over 48 hours and tattooed repeatedly.

Detectives say the man first called "911" at mid-morning telling police about the attack inside the home, where he lives in a basement apartment with three men and a woman.

"It appears that these are all individuals that he knows, associates of the complainant, so this is not like this is a random incident," Lt. John Stanford of Philadelphia Police said.

The four people are now being interviewed by detectives, but no charges have been filed.

Police say the tattoos, nearly a dozen in all, fully covered the lower part of the man's arms. They included obscene images and racial slurs, according to investigators.

As they learned about the investigation, neighbors reacted.

"Just horrible that you would do that to somebody and put obscene tattoos on them is awful," neighbor Andrea Buchanan said.

So far detectives, who executed a search warrant on the around 5 p.m., say they know of no motive for the alleged attack.

Natural Tattoo Removal

Tattoos are part of fashion mainstream.

People get tattoos for many reasons.

Reasons for getting a tattoo.

1. To be a rebel.

2. Show commitment to a group.

3. To feel mature.

4. Spring break boredom.

5. To have an intense experience.

6. To look like a badass.

7. A desire to be decorated with art.

8. Commemorate a life event.

9. A desire to feel unique or get attention.

In many cases, the tattoo is a cherished object. It is something the owner appreciates for the remainder of their life.

Tattoos are permanent.

Sometimes people regret getting their skin tattooed and consider tattoo removal.

Reasons for tattoo regret.

1. The tattoo is of a boyfriend's or girlfriend's name who is no longer in the picture.

2. Allergic reactions to the dyes in tattoos cause itchy, red bumps or infections.

3. Worry about tattoos causing problems with employment.

4. Fear of other people's judgement.

5. Guilt about spending money on the tattoo.

6. Outgrown childish tattoos gotten as teenagers.

7. Shame of having given into peer pressure and getting a tattoo as just another way to fit into the crowd.

Laser tattoo removal can be costly and painful. What if there were a painless and inexpensive way to remove our tattoos? British and South African physicians were wondering the same thing in 1988 and 1990 and came up with some surprising experimental results.

The physicians used a control group of 670 patients, who were wishing to remove their tattoos. In both scientific studies the tattoo removal recipe was found to be simple and effective with an 85 percent success rate.

The process of this tattoo removal is really quite simple. The doctors mixed common, mildly acidic household ingredients and applied them topically on the tattoo. Performing a mild, controlled burn triggers the body to generate new skin, much like the effects of laser tattoo removal. As the body repairs the damaged skin, the ink naturally breaks down and migrates to the surface with the new skin growth. The body is actually doing most of the work. The acidic mixture is simply the catalyst.

Although the thought of applying an acidic mixture to our skin seems extreme, it is similar to a facial peel done at the esthetician's office. It is referred to as the poor man's laser.

The recipe for natural tattoo removal.

1. Mix equal parts fresh lime juice and vinegar.

2. Deeply cleanse skin with soap and an abrasive pad.

3. Apply the lime juice, vinegar mixture.

4. It will sting for several minutes.

5. Apply antibiotic ointment and dress with gauze for several days.

6. A scab will form.

7. No picking.

8. When the scab falls off the tattoo will be considerably faded or gone.

9. This process can be repeated once every six weeks until the desired results are attained.

A tattoo is a permanent reminder of a moment in one's past. This is a safe, inexpensive and fast way to remove unwanted tattoos.

The Beautiful Art of Tattoo Removal | FMD 2010

Posted: 23 Mar 2014 01:30 PM PDT

Tattoo Removal, How is it done?

In the past many forms of Tattoo removal have been tried from Dermabrasion, the abrasion of the upper to mid layers of the skin; Trichloroacetic Acid or TCA, an acid that eats away the top layers of the skin; Excision and Grafting, the process of removing the skin and replacing it with a graft and Cryosurgery, the application of extreme cold to destroy abnormal or diseased tissue.

However, these days most Tattoo Removal is done with a Q switch laser. A Q switched laser depends on four main factors

 • The light must penetrate deep enough into the skin to reach the tattoo's pigment
 • The light must be more highly absorbed by the tattoo pigment than the skin. The colour of the light is the main factor in this as different coloured pigment absorbs different coloured light differently.
 • The duration of the ipl laser pulse must be extremely short, short enough that the tattoo pigment is heated enough to break down before its heat can dissipate to the surrounding skin. Otherwise the surrounding skin may be burned or scarred.
 • The laser must transmit enough heat in each pulse to heat the pigment enough to break down. If the laser pulse is too weak, the pigment will not break down and the tattoo will not be removed.

What are the Risks of Tattoo Removal?

Possible side effects of tattoo removal can include Hypopigmentation, a discolouration of the skin consisting of light spots; Hyperpigmentation, another discolouration of the skin consisting of dark spots; Textural changes and very rarely in burns.

As with any medical process you should do your research. Not only should you research the process itself, but you should research any of the places that you are considering having your tattoo removed at.

Customer reviews and any form of word of mouth is a great indicator, after all, if lots of other people have used a particular removalist and had great results then odds are that the removalist is good at what they do.

With Tattoo Removal, like any form of medical procedure, You should consult a trusted medical practitioner before any form of medical procedure and make sure that you're comfortable with the procedure.

Why get your Tattoo Removed?

There are almost as many reasons to get a tattoo removed, as there are people with tattoos. Some of the most common reasons include changes in personal taste, difficulty with work (many workplaces require tattoos to be non visible) and significant life events.

In many instances people get a tattoo for all the wrong reasons and often regret they did many years later. This is one of the biggest reasons the tattoo removal industry will never fold.

Can I Remove my Tattoo Myself? - Dr. Jean Chapman

Posted: 26 Mar 2014 08:59 AM PDT

Atlanta Laser Tattoo Removal Before and AfterAs Atlanta tattoo removal experts at LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic, we're more than a little concerned that if you type 'Can I Remove my Tattoo Myself?' in the search bar, Google returns almost 7.5 million results. The short answer to this question is no but we'll spend a few minutes answering any counterarguments you might have to the contrary.

The most common reason people want to find a non-medical option for removing a tattoo is that they want to save money. Professional, medical tattoo removal requires multiple sessions and while the procedures are not terribly expensive, people always try to find a cheaper method. However, all home remedy options for tattoo removal are either unsafe or ineffective. In fact the most common home remedy that shows up in search results for removing your tattoo at home involves salt. We won't go into detail about that method here or link to any article that does because that method is wildly unsafe. In fact, many home remedies are very likely to leave you with a scar that is worse than the tattoo you want removed.

Perhaps the main reason to never attempt to remove your own tattoo is a simple one: your health. Many tattoo removal home remedies we have seen online leave your skin badly damaged, raw, and cut, making you vulnerable to infection. Simply using a bottle of rubbing alcohol does not mean that any raw or cut skin will be properly cleaned. From the specially designed tools used for the treatments to the recovery process for your treated area being overseen by a doctor, laser tattoo removal is safer, more effective, and healthier than any cost saving internet suggested remedy.
Laser tattoo removal at LaserMed and Skin and Vein Clinic is performed under the guidance of Dr. Jean Chapman. Using a laser to deliver high intensity light to the tattooed area, over the course of 5-8 treatment the tattoo usually fades until it is no longer visible. The price for a tattoo 3 inches in diameter done in blue or black ink is approximately $300 per treatment. While that price might seem high, it pales in comparison the risk of serious infection setting is or an unsightly scar setting in after an ill-considered home remedy tattoo removal.

For most people, getting a tattoo is a long-term decision. Unfortunately though, some people come to regret their tattoo and decide they want to have it removed. And at LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic, we can help. If you live in the Atlanta area, contact Dr. Jean Chapman today to schedule a consultation for your safe and effective laser tattoo removal.
