Do-IT-Yourself Tattoo Removal Kit | RCNevada

Okay, what I just found is weird even by eBay standards.

It's listed as a "Permanent IPL Laser Hair, Spider Vein, Wrinkle, Tattoo Spot Removal Machine Kit."

Yuppers. This laser doohickey is for real.
(I'm a little warped but even I don't have the twisted imagination to make this shit up.)

It is in fact, a "High Output Intense Pulsed Light System." –Read Laser.
laser
The SPL600 produces an impressive 180 Jcm2/second (45jcm2/pulse) energy density at 410-1200 nm with a pulse duration of 900ms. Pulse frequency is completely adjustable from 1 to 4 emissions per second. This system is excellent for epilation, dermatology procedures, age spot treatments, wrinkle elimination, photo resurfacing and more. Can be used for tattoo removal on most inks.
The seller even has a FAQ with several important questions like:

"Can I buy this item? Am I an 'authorized purchaser'?
Answer: Yes, there is no license or prescription required for purchase of this item."

Or how about: "Is it easy to use? What about training?"
And the answer is: "Yes, it is amazingly simple and very easy to use. No training is required; it comes with detailed instructions on DVD and in printed format. If you have questions, we will be more than happy to assist you."

Oh boy, oh boy. Just think of the pain, scars and burns about to be caused by untrained, unlicensed people zapping everyone they know just to make a happy little buck.
–On the flip-side, just think of all those plastic surgeons clapping their hands for joy knowing that this little device is about to pay off their new Mercedes.

I got curious so as long as I was there I checked out their store and found a number of lasers in varying power ranges.
–Unfortunately none of them are powerful enough to discretely eliminate my neighbor's yappy dog. Ah well, I guess I'll just have to keep looking. Sooner or later some of that Reagan era star-wars missile defense equipment is bound to show up and all I'll need to do then is out bid the guy who's trying to discretely eliminate his mother-in-law. ;-)

Great answers about tattoo removal services - Health Solutions

The world is full of change. There's little that stays the same throughout an entire lifetime. Let one season pass, and you'll have to incorporate a dozen different changes into your life. You could land a new job, move to a different neighborhood or, better yet, begin a more loving, romantic relationship, the type of relationship you'd previously spent years only dreaming about.

If you were a carefree teenager or young adult, tattoo removal services might also usher change into your life. In a way, tattoo removal services are similar to losing weight or changing your hairstyle in that they each can take longer to finish than it took to get into a situation that you're now ready to shift. Depending on where you work, your employer might suggest tattoo removal services to you, making it clear that company dress code policies disallow you to have tattoos.

Job requirement or not, you might be hesitant to use tattoo removal services because of things you've heard about the services. For example, you might have heard that tattoo removal services are painful and costly. Those probably aren't the only questions you have about tattoo removal services. Only answers will help to alleviate your anxiety about the work. The following answers could shed more light on remaining tattoo removal services questions you have.

 • Tattoo removal services generally don't leave scars, especially if the services are performed with the most advanced laser technology. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that during the 1990s and earlier, tattoo removal services were painful because the tools tattoo artists used were more manually operated.
 • It's easier to remove darker inks than lighter inks at some shops.
 • Even the best tattoo removal services could require you to receive four to six removal sessions before the tattoo is completely removed.
 • Getting sufficient amounts of sleep at night could speed up the tattoo removal process.
 • A healthy diet can also help reduce the amount of time it takes for tattoo removal services to fully rid of inks and shapes on your skin.
 • Some tattoo removal services are nearly pain free. It's recommended that you have a consultation session with specialists at tattoo removal shops like Sensitive Touch to find out how long it will take to remove the specific tattoo you want lifted. During the consultation, ask specialists how much pain or pinching you might feel as the tattoo is removed.

The time it takes for you to see results of the removal work varies, but generally takes between four to six weeks. Think safety while you shop around for a specialist to perform your tattoo removal services. Talk to your friends and colleagues who have received tattoos then later had them removed. Ask them to recommend shops that leave no scarring and that are nearly pain free.

Regarding pricing, you might want to see if you can set up a payment plan with shops that perform tattoo removal services. Pay attention to late fees and administrative fees. After you have tattoos removed, give yourself time to enjoy being ink free before you decide to get a tattoo. You don't want to go through the work of having tattoos removed only to ink yourself up again then decide to turn back the clock again after you enter your middle-aged years.
