Below, we have answered some of our most frequently asked questions. For more information, feel free to contact U MediSpa for your free consultation.

The Quanta laser removes tattoos through the energy of light. This energy of light passes through the skin, without hurting the skin, and breaks down the tattoo ink into tiny particles. Your body then processes and dispenses these tiny particles throughout several treatments.

What type of laser is the Quanta q plus c?

The Quanta q plus c laser is a Q-Switch Nd-Yag laser. Nd-Yag lasers are the safest for skin types 1-6.

How many treatments will my tattoo take?

The number of treatments varies per person. This depends on the type of ink, the color of ink, the depth of ink, and the amount of ink that your individual artist used. It can also be dependent on whether your tattoo was done by a professional or an amateur.

How does Tattoo removal feel?

Tattoo removal feels similar to a small rubber band snapping back onto your skin. We do not use numbing cream for this treatment. We do, however, use a strong cooling device to make the treatment feel more comfortable for you.

What is the after-care for laser tattoo removal?

After-care for laser tattoo removal is very similar to when you got your tattoo. The treatment area should be kept clean. You should use a gentle soap when bathing, but avoid scrubbing the area as this can hinder the healing process. Apply antibiotic ointment for 2-3 days after the treatment. Keep the area protected from sunlight with bandages, clothing, and/or SPF. If scabbing occurs do not scratch or pick at the area. Allow the area to heal naturally for the best results after treatment.

How often will I be treated?

Your treatments will be scheduled four to eight weeks apart. Your technician will guide you on how often is best for your optimal results.

Britain's most tattooed man spends £6000 on laser removal ...

In a shock move, Britain's most tattooed man has spent a whopping £6,000 on laser removal.

But all is not what it seems. Far from starting afresh in the conventional way, 34-year-old King of Ink Land Body Art The Extreme Ink-Ite — or 'Body Art' for short — has spent thousands of pounds on the painful procedure just to have the area re-inked.

This is just the latest development in Body Art's dedication to the tattoo cause.

The Liberal Democrat activist for Birmingham got his first tattoo — a British bulldog — at the age of 16. One tattoo just wasn't enough though, and he's since spent more than £25,000 having 90 per cent of his body covered…including his left eyeball, which he had tattooed black.

Born Mathew Whelan, he legally changed his name to King of Ink Land Body Art The Extreme Ink-Ite four years ago.

Unsurprisingly his obsession has led to some difficulties.

Earlier this year the Passport Office refused to renew his passport. Surprisingly this wasn't because of his tattoos, but his name, which they deemed inappropriate.

Tattoo Removal: Third Laser Tattoo Removal Session / I Am Alpha M

Posted: 23 Feb 2014 05:20 PM PST

Tattoo Removal: First Laser Tattoo Removal Session
Tattoo Removal: Second Laser Tattoo Removal Session
In Alpha's case, his tattoos were two bad decisions that weren't planned leading to a lifetime of regret. Aaron Marino of alpha m. has been on a tattoo removal odyssey to eliminate the moon and a bumblebee. The treatments have been effective.

It's been two sessions on his leg and one on his back, and the results have been unbelievable. The doctor adds that results have been typical and says that the fading will be substantial but the end can drag on until you can see nothing. Never has the doctor seen a tattoo removed in one session. He has seen removal in as little as 6 -7 sessions and around 25 sessions at the most. Results are dependent on who is using the laser. The market is big right now but the problem is that very few people know how to do laser removal well.

The doctor reveals what Alpha's moon looks after two sessions as well as what the bee looks like after one session ("off the charts" good). The doctor proceeds with the third session of tattoo removing for the moon and the second session for the bee. Both tattoos are responding incredibly, and Alpha is thrilled that he has taken the time and money to get rid of these things.
